NEWS: HOUSE IS OPENING ITS DOORS TO LEICESTER'S FRIGHTARAMA

It's almost Halloween, which can only mean one thing. The Phoenix Cinema in Leicester is holding its annual Frightarama. Five films back to back, all for the price of £25. Well they have just announced their fifth film and it's a really fun movie. You only have to check out the trailer below to realise that. Yup, the fifth and final announcement is none other than Nobuhiko Obayashi's 1977 splatter-fest, Hausu (House).

It's a ridiculously fun movie and will certainly lighten the mood of the evening. A schoolgirl and six of her classmates travel to her aunt's country home, which tries to devour the girls in bizarre ways. That's pretty much it. Check out the trailer at the bottom of the update to see what we mean. The rest of the films are pictured below.

The event takes place on Friday October 28, from 10pm till dawn. The admission price includes all five films and a breakfast bap in the morning. Don't be surprised if they throw in some other treats as well.

Take blankets, sleeping bags, crucifixes, garlic, silver bullets, teddy bears, whatever you think will get you through till dawn. Four of the films have been announced already and the final film will be annouced in the coming days.

If you're in the area and you need one more reason to join them for the carnage, you can buy yourself a bottomless coffee on the night for just £2. Food and drink, alcoholic and non-alcoholic, will be available through the night and fancy dress wearers will stand the chance of bagging themselves some goodies.

I can't make it this year due to work commitments but I highly recommend it, the atmosphere is fantastic and a great night is had by all. The four films already announced are pictured above, you can check out the trailers by clicking on the images. To book tickets click on the link below. Happy screaming.
