Zhang Hanyu portrays Yang Zirong and Lin Gengxin takes on the role of Shao Jianbo, the two protagonists of the story. While Yang Zirong (1917－1947) is based on the real-life person, the other hero of the story, Shao Jianbo, is fictional, and Qu Bo created the character based on himself, as the story is seen through his point of view. Reviews were very positive for this one and Tsui Hark has always been a favourite in these parts, so American audiences can look forward to another fine release from Well Go USA this Summer.
