WHAT? One of our favourite movies of this past year was Key and Peele's Keanu, which featured the cutest cat ever to appear on the big screen. Since the end of sketch series, Key and Peele, they've been keeping themselves pretty busy, not least Peele who is just finishing work on his first solo outing, a horror movie called Get Out. Considering the current climate in the States, this one looks like it could make quite a splash. At least there are no clowns.
WHY? Did we not mention Keanu already? If you haven't seen it yet, make sure you check it out. Keanu is an offbeat action comedy about two guys rescuing a kitten from the criminal underworld. It sounds like a daft premise but it works brilliant. Get Out stars Daniel Kaluuya (Sicario) and Allison Williams (Girls) as Chris and Rose, a happy interracial couple planning to visit Rose’s parents (Bradley Whitford and Catherine Keener) on their family estate. Check out the trailer below, this could be one of the freshest horror movies of 2017.
WHEN? Get Out will be released in American theatres on February 27, 2017.
