One of our most popular posts of recent months was the first trailer for Shinji Higuchi's effects-laden epic, Attack on Titan. Well don't say we don't spoil you, because the second trailer has just been released and we're pleased to report it still looks rather awesome. We really can't wait for this.

Who says Japanese cinema can't compete with Hollywood special effects? If the two main trailers for Attack on Titan are anything to go by, this is going to be a spectacular romp from start to finish. The teaser was impressive, this just blew our minds...

Attack on Titan, directed by Shinji Higuchi (Hidden Fortress: The Last Princess) and based on the manga series "Shingeki no Kyojin" by Hajime Isayama, will be split into two parts and is set for release back home on August 1, 2015 and September 19, 2015 respectively.

Synopsis: 100 years ago, titans suddenly appeared on Earth. Soon, human civilisation veered on collapse due to the titans. Humans then built a giant wall to defend themselves. Within the giant walls, humans lived in peace, but, 100 years later, the giant wall is broken.
