101 Films is proud to present 80s martial arts action starring Yusuaki Kurata as a former free-fighting champion who trains a young man named Ryu Tenmei (Simon Yam) to take on the current champion Chang Lee (Bolo Yeung) in the arena of death. What's not to like? Simon Yam and Bolo Yeung head to head at last. Clearly somebody at 101 Films didn't think Simon Yam was recognisable enough to put him on the cover. Either that or they really couldn't fit him along side the hulking frame of Bolo Yeung.
When Ryu is beaten to death by Chang in the final bout, his trainer vows to enter the ring one last time to avenge his young student. They really don't make movies like this any more, they don't make trailers like this either, so sit back, relax, and enjoy the BloodFight trailer in all its glory.
