The trailer for Canopy has been doing the rounds for some time now, which is slightly disappointing when you consider this is the first we've seen of it. Released in selected UK cinemas on March 20, 2015, writer/director Aaron Wilson has created a tense and terrifying take on the Battle of Singapore. If you still have a fear of subtitles (I'm not sure what you're doing here) you'll be pleased to learn that Canopy is largely dialogue free, which leaves more room for heart-stopping suspense. Check out the trailer below.
Synopsis: Wartime, 1942. Singapore. An Australian fighter pilot shot down in combat awakens suspended in the treetops. As night devours day, he must navigate through dangerous jungle in search of sanctuary. Transcending language and culture, Canopy is a cinematic tour de force exploring the collision of war, nature and its impact on humanity.
