NEWS: DARK WATER RISES ON UK BLU-RAY

J-horror classic Ring has a special place in our hearts at TwistedWing, as it has for a lot of horror fans the world over. The sequel was pretty good too. Hideo Nakata hasn't hit the same heights since, though his 2013 movie, The Complex, was a worthwhile return to form. Ringu, The Complex and this latest release from Arrow Films form a neat, unrelated trilogy of sorts, and all three deserve a place in your collection. If you've yet to sample Dark Water, there has never been a better time. Dark Water is released on Dual format DVD and Blu-Ray on October 10.

Synopsis: Based upon on a short story by Ring author Koji Suzuki, Dark Water follows Yoshimi, a single mother struggling to win sole custody of her only child, Ikuko. When they move into a new home within a dilapidated and long-forgotten apartment complex, Yoshimi begins to experience startling visions and inexplicable sounds, calling her mental well-being into question, and endangering not only her custody of Ikuko, but perhaps their lives as well.
