A strong stomach is required for Tetsuya Nakashima's revenge thriller, The World of Kanako, which has finally received an official UK release date. It's not an easy watch by any stretch of the imagination but a powerful lead turn will keep you hooked until the bloody end.

Synopsis: Showa Fujishima (Koji Yakusho) is a former detective. One day, his daughter Kanako (Nana Komatsu), who is a model student, disappears. To find his daughter, he investigates more carefully into his daughter's life. He then becomes involved in a shocking situation.
