We have a first look at the Japanese remake of Confession of Murder, starring Tatsuya Fujiwara (Battle Royale, Death Note) and Hideaki Ito (The Princess Blade). If it all sounds a tad familiar, that's because it is a remake of the 2012 Korean film of the same name. The original movie stars Park Si-Hoo and Jung Jae-Young. You can check out both the new trailer and the original Korean trailer below. Confession of Murder is set for release back home on June 10, 2017.
Synopsis: In 1995, five serial murder cases took place. Ko Makimura took charge of the cases and tried to catch the serial killer. Unfortunately, Ko Makimura's superior was killed in an incident involving the killer and the case was left unsolved. 22 years later, a murder memoir, Watashi ga Satsujinhan desu ("I am a Murderer"), is published. The author describes himself as the killer responsible for the five unsolved murder cases.
