Opinion on this has been varied to say the least, but we are big fans of Adam Wingard here at TwistedWing and the original movie scared the living daylights out of us way back when, so colour us excited for the U.K. home format release of Blair Witch. Going back to its found footage roots, twenty years after James’s sister and her two friends vanished into the Black Hills Forest in Maryland, Blair Witch pretty much erases our memories of the lacklustre Book of Shadows.
The film documents James and his friends Peter, Ashley and film student Lisa, venturing into the same woods each with a camera to uncover the mysteries surrounding the 1999 disappearances. At first the group is hopeful, especially when a pair of locals, Lane and Talia, offer to act as guides through the dark and winding woods. But as the endless night wears on, the group is visited by a menacing presence. January 16, 2017 for this one.
