TRAILER: THE VIRGIN PSYCHICS

Barely a week goes by without a new Sion Sono trailer, so why don't you check out the teaser trailer for The Virgin Psychics. Due out this September in Japan, this first glimpse doesn't give too much away but we're pretty sure another trailer will come around soon enough.

Back in February we told you Shōta Sometani, star of Ping Pong, Himizu and Lesson of the Evil, had been cast in Sion Sono's next movie, a project based on a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Kiminori Wakasugi. The new film has already been made into a successful TV show, and with Sion Sono at the helm, big screen success is likely to follow.

The Virgin Psychics (All Esper Dayo!) is set in Notsu, Oita Prefecture, where an ordinary high school student, Yoshio Kamogawa (Shota Sometani), suddenly gains supernatural power. The film co-stars Elaiza Ikeda, Erina Mano and Makita Sports. Click on the picture below to view the trailer.
