This looks like it could be worth keeping an eye on. Tsumi no Yohaku is a new thriller from Yuki Otsuka, whose only previous directorial outing was 2012's Soup. The new film, which is based on the novel "Tsumi no Yohaku" by You Ashizawa and stars Masaaki Uchino (Thirteen Assassins, The Black House) and Miyu Yoshimoto, opens in Japan on October 3, 2015.
Synopsis: Ando (Masaaki Uchino) can't accept this his daughter Kana committed suicide. Kana fell from the ledge of a school building and died. Ando attempts to find out the truth behind his daughter's death. He becomes suspicious of his daughter's former classmate, Saki (Miyu Yoshimoto). Saki isn't a typical high school student and she aspires to work in show business. She dominates her high school with her charisma.
