Here comes another 80s slasher movie that passed us by first time around. No doubt lots of our readers will have had the dubious pleasure way back in '81, for the rest of us though it's time to play catch-up. There is no escape from Madman, a curious blend of Candyman and Friday the 13th by the sound of things, with a little The Fog thrown in for good measure. Madman is coming to DVD and Blu-Ray this summer, starring Michael Sullivan and Jan Claire. Joe Giannone's terrifying feature (we hope for the right reasons) is released on both formats in the UK on August 3rd, 2015, and in the US on May 26, 2015. Synopsis: A group of counsellors at a summer camp gather around and one of them tells the story of Madman Marz, a farmer from roundabout these parts who one night butchered his wife and kids and disappeared into the woods never to be seen again. Rumour has it that if you say Mr Marz's name out loud, then he will come and get you. So that's exactly what one bright spark does, and sure enough, the young things soon have an axe-wielding maniac on their hands.
