Based on the best-selling supernatural action mystery manga series written by Tsugumi Ohba and illustrated by Takeshi Obata, the Death Note TV series has found its three stars. Masataka Kubota, Kento Yamazaki & Mio Yuki have been cast in the NTV live-action drama. You can see their pretty faces in the image below. Nice. Death Note will run on NTV on Sundays from July. Synopsis: After an intelligent yet cynical high school student begins to cleanse the world from evil with the help of a magical notebook that can kill anyone whose name is written on it, international authorities call upon a mysterious detective known as "L" to thwart his efforts.
