One of the best things about American Horror Story. The star of
Halloween, The Fog and Prom Night. The zombie daughter of The Terminator who as a child hoarded colourless, transparent, odourless liquids to terrify aliens. Some dude
from Grange Hill and a Jonas brother. Okay, forget the last two and concentrate
on the cast who have had to endure a fair amount of chilling moments over the
last four decades. Perfect fodder for the new television series Scream Queens.
Starring Emma Roberts, Jamie Lee Curtis and Abigail Breslin, the plot of this Fox scare-fest revolves around a 1995 sorority pledge that clearly went horribly wrong, because someone is out for vengeance. Sound familiar? Of course it does. It's like every great slasher ever made, and the television format should allow for characters with added warmth and rapport (we hope) as a college campus struggles to cope with a series of murders on the twentieth anniversary of the crime.
