NEWS: BLOODY RETRIBUTION - WILD TALES IN THE UK

 

It made its debut at Cannes 2014, now Argentina's Damian Szifron is announcing himself to UK audiences with the arrival of critically acclaimed anthology thriller, Wild Tales. Violence, dark humour and vengeance not seen since the last, um, Japanese vengeance movie, Wild Tales is the kind of film not often associated with the words 'Oscar' and 'nomination'. If more films like this were credited we would pay more attention.

So what can you expect? Well, a calamitous plane journey for one, an all you can eat buffet of blood in an all-night café, road rage gone boom and a slapstick Jewish wedding that promises bloody retribution for a cheating husband-to-be. Wild Tales has a UK release date set for the end of March. We can't wait for this...
