The Disappearance Of Lenka Wood, a kidnap thriller set in
New York and Turkey, has wrapped up filming. Paul Tanter (The Fall Of The Essex Boys, White Collar Hooligan 2: England Away) penned and directed the film, with
Simon Phillips producing. The film sees a woman kidnapped on her honeymoon, and
focuses on her ex-soldier husband's efforts to free her.
Phillips said, "Paul has done a great job crafting a
taut, exciting Taken-style thriller with great action scenes". Note that he never said Taken 2. Czech actress Petra Bryant makes her feature film debut as the leading lady.
She will soon be known for playing Melissa in British sci-fi 'The Last Scout' (2014), written by Tanter and directed by Phillips, but has also
appeared in an episode of Snuff Box on BBC3 with Matt Berry and Richard Fulcher.
Wanted star Mark O'Neal takes the male lead role, and is
supported by Kick Ass 2 actor Tom Knight, 24’s Akbar Kurtha, and Rise Of The Footsoldier’s Billy Murray. The feature is due for release in summer 2014. We like
the cover art, and look forward to a Paul Tanter film that doesn’t have ‘fall’
in the title. You can find out more information by clicking on the following
